The Treatment: Humans Animal Communication |
Reiki: Treatment (Animals) The treatment is normally performed in the animal's own environment, somewhere where they feel comfortable. If it is a horse I normally recommend it is treated in the stable, although if it prefers the field that is not a problem. The animal can wear a rug if it is cold, as the Reiki will go through it. A treatment normally lasts between 45 minutes to an hour, although this is always dependant on the mood of the animal and the condition being treated. It is best to treat the animal during a quiet time of day when they are not expecting anything such as food or play time. With horses I normally suggest that the horse is not ridden after the Reiki treatment, although if that is not practical then a minimum of two hours' break should be given.
