Bach Flower Remedies

Doctor Edward Bach (pronounced batch) was a renowned bacteriologist and pathologist that gave up his lucrative Harley Street practice in 1930 to devote the rest of his life to finding natural remedies for a range of emotional imbalances. He discovered a large number of positive results by administering combinations of 38 flower essences. His system was so effective that it is still going strong today.

The remedies can help with a wide range of conditions. The list is endless, but includes everything from depression, anxiety or trauma to small fears, over-protectiveness or lack of confidence. Many physical illnesses are now thought to be influenced by - or even brought on by - a patient's emotional well-being, so it is important to keep the body in balance and harmony. By dealing with unhelpful emotions, a patient's recovery from physical illness can be significantly sped up.

The remedies are totally natural. They are non-toxic and non-addictive, and they can be used by anyone at any age, including babies and animals. The remedies are preserved in brandy, so they are not recommended if you have any problems associated with alcohol. The remedies are safe to be taken alongside any medication, although in some cases it may be advisable to ask your doctor first.

The Bach Flower remedies complement Shiatsu and Reiki perfectly as they can continue to balance the body between treatments.

I have been studying Bach flower remedies for over 2 years, and I have been using the remedies all of my life. I am currently qualified to Level 2.
